Kiln-Dried Timber Stability
Before assembly, all timber planks undergo scientific vacuum kiln-drying cycles to lower moisture content to <10%. This prevents warping, seam splitting, or mould growth during extended maritime transit.
Built in our family-owned workshop in Jepara, Central Java, Teratai Home bed collections blend time-honored Indonesian relief carving with high-precision structural joinery. We engineer every bed to meet rigorous international commercial hospitality and residential retail standards.
Every timber beam is responsibly sourced under SVLK Indonesian legal verification and kiln-dried to under 10%–12% moisture content (MC). This technical stabilization guarantees structural integrity, preventing bowing, splitting, and shrinkage across cold North American winters, arid Middle Eastern interiors, and humid coastal climates worldwide.

The Chennai Bed features an intricate open-work medallion fretwork headboard sculpted by Jepara master carvers. Supported by heavy solid side rails and an internal hardwood slat platform with central steel reinforcement legs, the frame provides silent, wobble-free commercial stability without requiring a box spring.
We eliminate common import risks through technical timber handling and transparent manufacturing protocols.

All bed frames feature hidden heavy-gauge steel interlocking corner plates. This enables rapid on-site assembly for resort developers while minimizing cubic meter (CBM) volume in export shipping containers.
Our dedicated quality assurance managers perform 3-stage inspections: rough carpentry check, post-sanding joint clearance test, and pre-pack finish appraisal. Detailed photographic dossiers are provided prior to loading.
Critical commercial and logistical details to support your import purchasing decisions.
We standardly manufacture US King (76x80 in), California King (72x84 in), Queen (60x80 in), and standard European dimensions (160x200 cm, 180x200 cm). Because we maintain full in-house carpentry facilities, we adjust mattress recess depths, footboard clearances, and custom headboard heights directly to your project specifications.
Wood movement is eliminated by balancing moisture content to 10%–12% through computerized kiln cycles. Structurally, our beds utilize traditional mortise-and-tenon carpentry supplemented with industrial-grade internal brackets and central longitudinal support rails with leveling floor glides.
Each component is wrapped in shock-absorbent PE foam, enclosed in heavy edge-protectors, sealed within 5-ply export master cartons, and palletized or crated using ISPM-15 certified fumigated timber crates. We manage direct container stuffing (20ft, 40ft HC) or consolidated LCL shipments to any destination port worldwide.
Production lead time averages 4–6 weeks per container. Orders are initiated with a standard 30% deposit upon technical blueprint sign-off. The 70% balance is payable only after your team approves high-resolution inspection videos and comprehensive digital QC audit sheets prior to container seal installation.
